IDESG has created a structured organization with multiple tiers of membership and a range of benefits that meet the needs of the different types of organizations that wish to participate.
Membership Levels
The IDESG currently offers two levels of membership. Membership privileges vary by participation level. Participation in the IDESG is currently free of charge, however the IDESG does plan on implementing a new membership plan in Q2 2017.
Organizational Membership
This type of membership is for companies, institutions, associations and other organizations who wish to participate in the IDESG and its workgroups and committees. Organizational Members may designate one Member Representative who is entitled to vote on behalf of the organization, as well a Member Alternate and up to three Member Associates. All persons designated may participate in as many IDESG committees as they wish, however, each organization only gets one vote in each committee. Member Representatives are eligible for election in an IDESG leadership role such as Plenary Chair and Vice Chair, Stakeholder Delegate to the Management Council, and Delegate-at-Large. Member Representatives, Alternates, and Associates may all be elected into committee leadership positions.
Individual Membership
This membership is for individuals not representing an organizational interest. Individual Members may vote in all IDESG elections on their own behalf, attend and participate in all IDESG committees, and is eligible to hold any IDESG leadership role, as well as any committee leadership role.
How To Join
To join IDESG, you will need to:
- Complete the Membership Agreement in full and have it signed by an authorized employee of your company.
- Complete the Membership Signup Form.
