Adam Madlin, Symantec
Adam Madlin is the solutions leader for federal identity and enterprise security in U.S. public sector strategic programs at Symantec. In this role, Madlin is responsible for strategic identity programs, business development for federal customers and for identity policy. He also serves as the chair of the IDESG Security Committee and is responsible for leading the development of key aspects of the overall identity ecosystem.
Prior to Symantec, Madlin held leadership roles in enterprise software services at JDA Software, Life Technologies and Agile Software (now Oracle). He is a proven technology, program management and IT services executive with broad leadership experience. He has worked with organizations of all sizes, delivering best practice capabilities through enterprise systems innovations. He also possesses a unique combination of leading enterprises across cybersecurity, customer experience, crowdsourcing and innovation management. Throughout his extensive career, he has led IT and client service organizations and worked with many Fortune 100 companies advising them and implementing enterprise software systems on a global basis.
Madlin holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Duke University. He obtained a master’s degree in electrical engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology and a MBA from the University of Rochester. He currently holds PMP and CISSP certifications.
