Ben Wilson, JD, CISA, CISSP, is an attorney and Vice President of Compliance at DigiCert, a globally recognized Certification Authority that issues digital certificates individuals and organizations that are used for authentication and encryption. For over 20 years Ben has advised clients on information security, identity and authentication, privacy, public key infrastructures, and e-signatures. Prior to joining DigiCert in 2009, Ben worked as an attorney in private practice and for Digital Signature Trust, IdenTrust, and other Certification Authorities. He is a past chair of both the ABA's Information Security Committee (Wilson served as rapporteur of the ABA’s Public Key Infrastructure Assessment Guidelines) and the Utah State Bar's Cyberlaw Section. He is also the past Treasurer and Board member of the Online Trust Alliance. Currently he also serves as Vice Chair of the CA/Browser Forum, as a member of the CA Security Council, and as Chair of the IDESG’s Trust Framework and Trust Mark (TFTM) Committee.
